Ashley Tisdale has finally graduated from high school! The CW confirmed today that the High School Musical alum is joining the cast of Hellcats, a dramedy in the works for fall from executive producers Kevin Murphy and Tom Welling. (Yep, that Tom Welling from Smallville.) Think Bring it On — the ensemble drama focuses on the world of competitive college cheerleading.

Hellcats is one six dramas the CW is developing for its fall lineup. The others include Betwixt (a thriller based on the novel of the same name), Nikita (an update of La Femme Nikita), Nomads (young backpackers earn money overseas by working for the CIA), an untitled project from Amy Holden Jones (about Harvard Medical School students), and an untitled project that takes place in Wyoming (a sudser about a family living on a horse farm).

Making the trip to Sin City, Vanessa Hudgens was all smiles at the CBS Films luncheon during ShoWest 2010 held at Paris Las Vegas on Friday (March 18). The “Bandslam” beauty meandered about the swanky hotel, posing for pictures and chatting with stars including Neil Patrick Harris, Alex Pettyfer and Dwayne Johnson. The visit coincides with Miss Hudgens, Mr Harris and Mr Pettyfer‘s efforts to introduce their upcoming film, “Beastly,” which hits theaters on July 30th.

Yesterday Vanessa Hudgens attended the ShoWest Awards Ceremony and her costar of Beastly Alex Pettyfer and won the Female and Male Star of Tomorrow awards. “Beastly” looks better than most teen fantasy flicks so keep your eyes peeled for its release in July. The ambiguous teaser trailer provided little insight into the film, about a young man’s physical curse, but based on ShoWest’s praise of this duo moviegoers are in for a treat.

We’re all aware that Miley Cyrus is dating Liam Hemsworth, her hot, tall Australian Last Song costar and that they’re all official, but just how serious is it? Well, she’s already met his parents…

“Yeah, they loved her,” Liam tells Michael Yo on tonight’s Daily 10. Mom and pop Hemsworth were introduced to their son’s GF on a recent trip to his hometown in Australia.

“It was really cool to show Miley where I’m from and how I grew up, and it’s a completely different world to where she’s from,” Liam went on. “We don’t have shopping centers or traffic lights or anything like that, where I live at least.“

And Miley says she loved it Down Under, too—mostly because the paparazzi there are way cooler than the ones here…

“It was awesome, I really like Australia,” Miley tells M.Yo. “You know what? The media’s really cool there, too. Even though there’s paparazzi, they kind of stay their distance; it was kind of like Nashville by the sea actually, the town he’s from.“

Taylor was spotted at Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas  yesterday. I hope she is having a great time there cause she deserves it from all the hard work.
